ABSTRACT :
The term 'statistics' generally refers to two main concepts (1) informations in terms of figures, called descriptive statistics and (2) the scientific way of analysing and interpreting a set of figures - the statistical methods. The former, concerns methods for collecting, organizing, and presenting data, while the latter aims at analysing, summarising and interpreting data using techniques ranging from, the simplest descriptive devices, to those highly mathematical theories and procedures. The following, aims at providing some fundamental skill of presenting ordinary data and some basic concepts necessary for general statistical theories.
